Support our Centre
Sedgefield Locality Carers Centre is a registered Charity and we are constantly seeking funding to continue to provide the services we currently offer. At presently we receive funding from:
Sedgefield PCT
Big Lottery Fund
Social Care & Health
but the amounts received from the above Funders is not enough to keep our Centre running.
Ways in which you can help
By post
You send the Centre a donation by post. Cheques should be made payable to Sedgefield Locality Carers Centre and sent to us at FREEPOST NEA16127, Newton Aycliffe, Co Durham DL5 4BR. All donations will be acknowledged as soon as possible by post so please ensure that you enclose your name and address. For security reasons, please do not send cash.
In memory of....
Making a donation to the Centre in memory of a loved one is a very special way to remember them. Your gift will provide ongoing support to people who access our services.
If you are arranging a funeral and would like to advise mourners to make a donation in lieu of flowers, we can supply you with leaflets to send out with the funeral notice.
By remembering the Centre in your Will.
Once you have provided for your loved one, leaving a gift in your will to a cause you care about is a wonderful way to show your support. Please click on the button below to view our Legacies Leaflet
Standing Orders
A regular donation by standing order is particularly helpful. Knowing that a certain level of support can be relied upon enables us to allocate funds for longer term projects and initiatives.
If your circumstances change and you need to cancel a standing order at any time, all you need to do is instruct your bank to cease payment. A standing order to the Centre is just a pledge to help while you can.
All you need to do is print out the standing order form, complete it and post it to the Centre.

You can help us to raise funds at NO COST TO YOURSELF
We have registered with easyfundraising.org.uk which helps us to raise funds for the Carers Centre. If you buy anything online, you could enable us to receive a donation, if you purchase it through this website. It doesn’t cost a penny extra to shop this way and some companies are even offering discounts. Choose
from over 500 of the UK’s best known retailers including M &
S, Next, Tesco, Asda, Woolworths, Interflora etc. Please have a look at
all the retailers who I’m sure that you buy from already!
Each of these retailers has agreed to donate up to 15% of the purchase amount to us! We
would appreciate it if you could help us by asking people to register
with the website, choosing Sedgefield Locality Carers Centre as the
cause they would like to help and then ordering through the site.
How to Register Log on to: www.easyfundraising.org.uk
· Click on the box which says ‘Register as a User’
· To
find your cause key in ‘S’ in the charity/organisation box
and then click search, click ‘next’ until you find
‘Sedgefield Locality Carers Centre’ and click on it.
· Then input your name, email address and input a password that you will remember
· Click on accept and register.
Once
this information is entered you are registered and can order away! Just
log in by entering your email address and password then you can search
for the retailer of your choice or compare prices by clicking on a
category for the item you are looking for.
