Introduction to Autism Course For Parent Carers


This introductory course last for 2½ hours and is aimed at being the first step to discovering the basics about this complex condition.  The training is for those caring for a child under 18 years of age living with Autism, especially those where diagnosis has occurred recently.  

The course will help you to gain:
The course will be delivered by : Helen Jacques, B Phil (Autism), Cert Ed, MlfL who works for the Main Project in Middlesbrough.

The Course will be held on
Friday 24th February 2012 from 10am - 12.30pm, at the Pioneering Care Centre, Carers Way, off Burn Lane, Newton Aycliffe, DL5 4SF

The course costs £10.00 per person.

We only have 15 places available on the course and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis.

Reflexology - led by Carole Dawson

Thursday 15th March 2012 from 1.00pm until 2.30pm, in the Brown Room at the Pioneering Care Centre, off Burn Lane, Newton Aycliffe

Moving and Assisting Sessions for Family Carers 

Thursday 26th April 2012 at St Pauls Centre, St Pauls Gardens, Spennymoor, DL16 7LS

First Aid 10am - 12noon

Moving and Assisting 1pm - 3pm
